The Iberian flavor
OUR VIRUTEO SUGGESTIONS
Ham shaves, due to their small size and thinness, are an ideal complement to all kinds of dishes, appetizers or starters. A versatile, tasty and stylish ingredient.
Thanks to their exceptional quality, they add an unmistakable extra touch of flavor to all recipes.
You can combine them with all kinds of dishes and ingredients, adding them at the end if you want to preserve their full intensity and texture, or at the beginning of preparation if you prefer them to melt and blend with the dish’s other flavors.
Appetizers and Snacks
Cones of wood shavings
Serve the shavings on their own in paper cones or on small spoons, like a premium snack. If you want to enhance the flavor, add a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and a sprinkle of black pepper.
Crispy shavings
Spread the shavings on a sheet of baking paper and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 5-7 minutes, being careful not to burn them. Eat them on their own or as a topping for soups, salads, or eggs.
